๐Ÿ” Pasture-Raised ยท South Murray County, GA

Pasture-Raised Chickens

Raised on living pasture between rows of chestnut trees. Two breeds, non-GMO feed, no antibiotics โ€” ever.

How We Raise Them

Our chickens aren't just pasture-raised โ€” they're part of a working farm ecosystem.

๐Ÿšœ

Chicken Tractors

Our birds live in mobile chicken tractors โ€” open-bottom shelters on wheels moved through the orchard daily. Every day they're on fresh ground, fresh grass, and fresh bugs.

๐ŸŒณ

Between the Chestnut Trees

The tractors move in between the rows of chestnut trees on our 110-acre farm. The chickens fertilize the soil, scratch out weeds, and eat pests โ€” the trees provide shade and shelter. Regenerative agriculture in practice.

๐ŸŒฑ

Living Pasture

The pasture is a mix of Tall Fescue, Rye grass, and Durano clover โ€” chosen for nutrition and year-round coverage. The birds forage freely alongside their Tanner Mills Naturecrest non-GMO feed.

Two Breeds, Two Profiles

We raise Cornish Cross and Freedom Rangers side by side โ€” same pasture, same care, different eating experiences.

๐Ÿ“

Cornish Cross

The classic American broiler. Broad-breasted, tender, and fast-growing โ€” harvested at around 8 weeks. Great yield, familiar flavor, excellent for roasting or grilling.
